Washington DC [US], April 21 (ANI): Actors Kate Hudson and Brenda Song believe their children may eventually step into the world of entertainment, saying it may be hard for them to avoid show business altogether, according to E! News.
Speaking in a joint interview with E! News alongside Running Point co-creator Mindy Kaling, Hudson said, 'I don't see a way out of it,' when asked if her children might pursue acting careers.
Song echoed similar sentiments, noting early signs in her young children. 'There's no way. My kids are only 3 and 5, but the 3-year-old--I'm like, 'Oh no, I can see it!'' she said.
Hudson, who comes from a family deeply rooted in Hollywood--including her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell--said creativity and performance seem to run in their DNA.
'Our family, I feel like we come out either doing a scene or dancing. It's kind of crazy--everybody is performance-oriented,' she said, adding that passion is key to surviving in the industry.
'In our family, if you love it, stay. If you don't, get out,' Hudson noted, describing show business as 'unpredictable and unstable,' but worthwhile for those truly committed.
Meanwhile, Kaling shared that her children are fascinated by her work but may not fully understand the reality of being on set. 'They think it's glamorous, with endless candy--but they'd probably sit there and get bored,' she joked, according to E! News.
Running Point season two begins streaming April 23 on Netflix. (ANI)
