New Delhi [India], April 3 (ANI): Two decades after 'Tere Naam,' Ravi Kishan still sings praises of superstar Salman Khan. The actor-politician, who shared the screen in the cult classic and even the gym floor with Salman, says his admiration for him has only grown over the years.
Speaking to ANI, the actor shared that he sees Salman as a 'very helpful' and kind person. Talking about his personal bond with Salman and how he doesn't care about outside opinions, Ravi Kishan said, 'Superb man, what a lovely human being. Salman Khan bahut acche insaan hain. Mere acche dost hain, aur hamara bahut purana sambandh hai. I have only good things to say about him. Main unhe ek acche insaan ke roop mein dekhta hoon, a very helpful person. Ye meri raaye hai; log kya kehte hain ya kya kahenge, I don't care. Woh aur main acche dost hain. Woh hamare senior hain. 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' pehle aa chuki thi. Main 1991 mein aaya tha; woh 1986-87 mein aa chuke the.' (He is a very good human being. We share an old bond and friendship. I see him as a kind person. He is very helpful. This is my opinion; I don't care what people say. We are good friends. He is my senior.)
Kishan also recalled their time training together at a gym in Bandra, where he would watch the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor effortlessly power through pull-ups. Sharing details about their workouts and bond, he said: 'Ek Bhaiya Gym karke Bandra mein hota tha. We used to work out there. Main unko dekhta tha, woh bahut pull-ups maarte the.' (There was a gym in Bandra where we used to work out together. I used to see him doing strong pull-ups.)
'Aur jab bhi hamari baat hoti hai, unka aur mera humour connection bahut kamaal ka hai. Huge Salman Khan fan,' he added. (We share a great humour connection. I am a huge Salman Khan fan.)
Ravi Kishan played the role of Pandit Rameshwar in 'Tere Naam,' where he appeared alongside Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla. The film, directed by Satish Kaushik, remains popular for its music and Salman's intense performance.
Meanwhile, Ravi Kishan is currently seen in 'Maamla Legal Hai Season 2,' which was released on Netflix on April 3, 2026. (ANI)
