(250610) -- UNITED NATIONS, June 10, 2025 (Xinhua) -- UN under-secretary-general and high representative for the UN Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos (C, front) speaks during a thematic dialogue to mark the first anniversary of the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations at the UN headquarters in New York, June 9, 2025. A series of events was held on Monday at UN Headquarters in New York to commemorate the first anniversary of the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations.

Proposed by China and co-sponsored by over 80 countries, a resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly last year designates June 10 as the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations. (Xinhua/Li Rui)
