ABU DHABI, 1st June, 2025 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, has received a delegation from the Department of Energy, led by Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Department of Energy (DoE), at Al Nakheel Palace in Abu Dhabi. The visit was part of efforts to enhance energy services and support the path of sustainable development in the Al Dhafra Region.
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on several strategic projects currently underway in Al Dhafra, aimed at strengthening the region's energy system. These include renewable energy projects, efficient resource utilisation, and the development of infrastructure that supports economic and social growth.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan stressed the importance of the projects being implemented in the region and their role in providing a comprehensive development environment that enhances the quality of life for residents and aligns with future development aspirations in line with the directives and support of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan praised the DoE's efforts and the contributions of its professionals to the sector, appreciating their role in supporting the comprehensive development drive in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
For their part, the DoE delegation expressed their deep appreciation for H.H. Sheikh Hamdan's continued support, affirming their full commitment to implementing the wise directives and strengthening strategic partnerships in service of the community and its sustainability. They also emphasised their continued efforts to enhance the quality of services and social initiatives in the Al Dhafra Region and Abu Dhabi as a whole.
