ASTANA, 12th May, 2025 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has visited the Ethnic Village in Astana as part of his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the visit to Ethnic Village, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed was accompanied by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan.
During the tour, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed was briefed on a range of activities showcasing Kazakhstan's rich and diverse culture and heritage, including artistic, theatrical and folkloric performances. The visit also featured displays of traditional crafts, visual arts and national costumes.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed also viewed key elements of Kazakh heritage, such as falconry, horse racing, horseback archery and demonstrations of the traditional Kazakh Tazy hunting dogs - cultural practices that have been deeply rooted in the nation's identity for generations.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed praised this distinguished cultural destination and its role in showcasing Kazakhstan's rich and diverse culture, and commended the Kazakh government's efforts to preserve and promote its national heritage.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed underscored the importance of passing these traditions to future generations through innovative and modern initiatives that ensure their sustainability amid a constantly changing world.
During the tour, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed was accompanied by members of the official UAE delegation.
