For centuries, Sun Wukong, or the Monkey King, from the Journey to the West has stood as one of the most iconic symbols of Chinese culture, embodying generations of Chinese people's imagination of a hero. Recently, Liu Xiao Ling Tong, best known for his portrayal of the Monkey King, shared his insights on the spirit of Journey to the West in an interview. He also offered his thoughts on recent phenomena such as the video game Black Myth: Wukong and the animated film Nobody.
