WASHINGTON DC: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that it has distributed 96,402,290 doses of Covid vaccines nationwide, and 72,806,180 doses have been administered to Americans.
These totals reflect records compiled as of Saturday, February 27, and include both Moderna and Pfizer two-dose vaccinations.
Further, the CDC announced that 48,435,536 people have received at least one vaccine dose, and 23,698,627 have now received two doses.
Separately it was noted, just over 7 million doses have been administered in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
