FRANKFURT, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 3.23 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 13,286.57 points.
Automotive manufacturer Volkswagen lost 2.46 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by automotive manufacturers Daimler and BMW, which lost 2.30 percent and 1.68 percent respectively.
Marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group gained 1.72 percent, becoming the top gainer. Pharmaceutical company Merck and European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero advanced 1.70 percent and 1.28 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share with a turnover of 252.29 million euros (300.23 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 0.49 percent to close at 1.010 euros per share on Thursday.
